September 26, 7:30 pm — The Franklin Institute, 222 N. 20th St., Philadelphia
The Rittenhouse Astronomical Society will host Robert Nemiroff,
creator, lead writer, and editor of Astronomy Picture of the Day. The
meeting will begin with an astronomy lesson showing a graphic
representation of the Big Bang, and conclude with the rooftop
observatory open after the lecture, weather permitting. The meetings
are free and all are invited to attend.
